We bring extensive experience, practical judgment and technical expertise to deliver thorough, cost effective and relevant survey solutions for your real estate assets.
Our multiple survey crews operate as one and two person field crews equipped with the latest technology which includes robotic total stations, survey grade GPS (GNSS) receivers, remote sensing and photogrammetric equipment.
Donald C. Chaput, PLS, principal owner of Chaput Land Surveys has more than 40 years of surveying experience relating to property acquisition, land development, transportation and construction. Don has authored articles on ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, spatial survey technology and construction layout risk avoidance. He has been a presenter at seminars to law firms and development firms on the subject of Land Title Surveys. Don is licensed in Wisconsin and Colorado (inactive) and is a member of the professional organizations; Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors, National Society of Professional Surveyors, Southeast Chapter of WSLS and Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Land Surveyors.
Allen J. Schneider, PLS, Senior Project Manager oversees daily operations including the site development and construction surveying market segment for Chaput. Al has 30 years experience in all types of land surveying and civil engineering. Al is licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois and is a member of professional organizations; Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (Fellow and Past President), National Society of Professional Surveyors, Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Land Surveyors (Past President) and Foundation Board Director of the WSLS Foundation.
